The city of Grožnjan, located in the Istria County, nurtures a rich artistic tradition by representing artistic and musical art in the best possible form: creative on the spot. Its rich programme offers concerts on a daily basis, exhibition openings, performances, visits to art workshops and studios. The Imaginary Film Academy in Grožnjan was founded in 1995 as a non-governmental, non-profit civic association with the objective to encourage, support and organize activities aimed at gathering theatre, television and film experts and professionals who advocate the recognition of dramatic arts, and its development, in Croatia and abroad. Therefore, the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb has selected Grožnjan as its location for various lectures, workshops and all additional activities.
