Andreja Jeličić je utemeljila Odsjek plesa na Akademiji dramske umjetnosti Sveučilišta u Zagrebu i napisala prve hrvatske studijske programe iz područja plesne umjetnosti:
BA Baletna pedagogija i BA Suvremeni ples, koji se izvode od 2013.godine.
Predaje Balet i Povijest plesa, nositeljica je i surađuje na nizu metodičkih predmeta na oba studija, mentorica je studentskih projekata. Baletnu školu završila je u Zagrebu, plesala je u Baletu riječkog HNK, diplomirala sociologiju na Filozofskom fakultetu u Zagrebu, završila stručni studij baletne pedagogije u Vaganova akademiji u Sankt Peterburgu te magistrirala Dance Studies u Laban centru u Londonu.

U Labanu je kao visokoškolska nastavnica radila sedamnaest godina, i to na na plesnim BA i MA programima, a od 2004-07. bila je direktorica dodiplomskih studija.
Objavljivala je tekstove u Dance Theatre Journal, Kretanjima, portalu plesnascena.hr, stalna je suradnica Leksikografskog zavoda.

Andreja Jeličić founded the Dance Department at the Academy of Dramatic Art of the University of Zagreb, and wrote the first Croatian study programmes in the field of dance art: the BA in Ballet Pedagogy and the BA in Contemporary Dance, which have been conducted since 2013. She teaches Ballet and Dance History, coordinates and collaborates on a series of methodological courses on both studies, and is a mentor on student projects. She graduated from the Ballet School in Zagreb, danced in the Ballet of the Croatian National Theatre in Rijeka, graduated from Sociology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, completed the Ballet pedagogy study at the Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg and got her MA in Dance Studies at the Laban Centre in London.

She taught at Laban for seventeen years,  on both BA and MA programmes,  and from 2004-07  the position of the Head of undergraduate studies. She published articles for the Dance Theatre Journal, Kretanja, plesnascena.hr website, and is a permanent associate at the Lexicographic Institute in Zagreb.
